Exhibition on Rosario Cathedral in city at INTACH today, June 8

Mangaluru, June 08, 2019: Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (Intach), in association with Srinivas School of Architecture, has organised an exhibition on the historical and architectural significance of Rosario Cathedral in its 500th year of inception.

The exhibition will be inaugurated at Intach premises, Kodial Guthu House (West Annext), C.G. Road, Ballal Bagh (behind TMA Pai Convention Centre) in the city at 3 p.m. on June 8 in the presence of Cathedral’s Parish Priest Rev Fr. J.B. Crasta. The exhibition will remain open till June 10, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., a communique here said.

It may be noted that a Cathedral at this spot has existed since 1850AD, the present structure and dome was inaugurated in 1915AD  as per historical data.
