Ex-VC of Mangalore University Prof. T.C. Shivashankara Murthy no more

Mangaluru, Aug 19, 2015: Prof. T.C. Shivashankara Murthy , the former Vice Chancellor of Mangalore University  is no more.  He breathed his last following a massive cardiac arrest at Pune on August 19, Wednesday. Prof. Murthy was 63 years of age.

 

He was in Pune to participate in a seminar. Prof. Murthy was serving as Working Chancellor of Mysuru University.

He was a recipient of the Honorary Rank of Colonel Commandant in 2011 conferred on him by the Director General of NCC coming under Ministry of Defence.
