Ex-MLA Vijay Kumar Shetty’s kind gesture to Nepal quake victims

Mangaluru, May 6, 2015: In a kind gesture, senior Congress leader and former Suratkal MLA  K Vijay Kumar Shetty  has donated his one month’s pension amounting to Rs 34,000/- towards the Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund.

A cheque towards the amount was handed over by him to Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim. Purushottam Chitrapur, Deputy Mayor, Hussain Katipalla, Suratkal Block Congress General Secretary and Kumar Mendon, Secretary were also present.
