Ex-CM Siddaramaiah visits residence of Jaleel and Naushin; hands over cheques for Rs 7.5 lakhs

Mangaluru, Dec 23, 2019:  Former chief minister Siddaramaih along with several senior Congress leaders visited the residences of Abdul Jaleel and Naushin who were killed in Thursday’s police firing, and consoled the grieving family members.

 

He also handed over  two cheques to the families of Jaleel and Naushin. If one cheque for Rs 5 lakh was given on behalf of the State Congress, another cheque for Rs 2.5 lakh was given on behalf of the District Congress.

Former ministers  U T Khader,  Ramanatha Rai, MLC Ivan D’Souza, District Congress President Harish Kumar, Youth Congress President Mithun Rai and others were present.
