Enthusiastic response to Matysotsava at Pilikula

Mangaluru, July 15, 2018:  Matsyotsava- a fish festival and Kshetrotsava was inaugurated at Pilikula Lake Garden at Pilikula Nisargadhama on July 15, Sunday by Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian. The event has been jointly organised by the  Pilikula Nisargadhama and Fisheries Department.

 

 

 

 

The Festival gave an opportunity to fish lovers who otherwise enjoy sea fish to  relish fresh water fish.  Several people had arrived at the venue in order to buy fresh fish.

 

There  are also stalls selling fish cuisine.  An exhibition of ornamental fish  has also been organised.
