Elderly man dies as two wheeler plunges into stream near Uppinangady.

Uppinangady: August 11, 2015: An elderly man died after his two wheeler plunged into stream near Uppianangady on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Naveen Ramdas Bhaktha (62) from Nekkiladi, Puttur.

According to the sources, Naveen was on his way to Uppinangady from his house, suddenly lost control over his vehicle and plunged into the stream on Tuesday Morning.

It is learnt that the family members of Naveen had gone to a relative’s house during the time of the accident. The passerby who saw Naveen in unconscious state informed the Panchayat vice president Oscar Ali. 

Naveen was a beedi transporter and is survived by his wife and three children.

A case has been registered in Puttur traffic police station.
