Elderly falls from moving bus, dies

Kundapur, Nov 09, 2018: An elderly man, about 60 years old,  died after he fell from a bus near Sharke Bobbaraya Daivastana in Vandse village on Kundapur-Kollur State Highway.

According to Kollur police, Narayana Bhat lost his balance while the bus driver was taking a turn near the Daivastana.

Bhat fell off from the rear door of the bus. An injured Bhat was taken to the Vandse Primary Health Centre where he died. On a complaint of Ranjit Shetty, a two-wheeler rider who saw the incident, the police have registered a case.
