Elderly couple found dead under the bridge near Pallanji

Kasargod,  Mar 04, 2019 : Elderly couple were found dead under the bridge near Pallanji of Adoor on March 04, Monday.

 

The deceased are identified as George(79) and his wife Ponnamma(60) residents of Idukki.
 
Sources said that the locals on noticing the couple lying unconscious informed the police. A bottle of poison and water  seen near the bodies. It is learnt that the couple were stayng in a house in Mavungal of Kanhangad from some days. The passerby had noticed the couple  moving towards Pallanji after getting down from the bus at Beturupare. 


The reason behind the extreme step yet to ascertain. Investigations are underway.
