Elderly couple driven out by sons; house demolished

Puttur, May 13 2019:  In a shocking case reported from Kedila in Puttur town panchayat limits,  an elderly couple were made to forcibly move out of their house by their own children in order to facilitate demolition of the house.

The couple Mohammad (75) and Khatijamma (72) who were injured in the incident have been admitted to the Puttur Government Hospital.

The couple has alleged that three out of their nine children were responsible for driving them out. A property dispute is suspected to be the reason behind this incident.
