Eight month baby found dead in Bolar

Mangaluru, May 29, 2019: An eight-month-old baby girl, with evidence of  being strangulated to death and abandoned by the banks of the Netravathi in Bolar on May 27, Monday night has been found. The girl’s mother has been suspected of committing the murder.

 

baby.jpgAccording to Mangaluru South Police, Mounashri is the daughter of Lakshman Tenginahal and Roopa, construction workers hailing from Koppal, who are living in a thatched hut in M-farm Camp in Bolar. On Monday, Tenginahal did not go to work as he was unwell.

His wife Roopa left for work at around 8 a.m. At around noon, Tenginahal put his child in a cradle and went outside. He returned an hour later and found his child missing.  At around 6 p.m., the body of the child was found on the banks of the river Nethravathi.
