EVMs of DK, Udupi constituencies placed safely in strong rooms at NITK, St. Cecily’s School

Mangaluru, Apr 20 2019: Following the April 19 elections to the Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency, the EVMs have been kept safely and securely in the strong rooms especially created for the purpose at NITK, Suratkal. CRPF personnel are guarding the strong rooms round the clock.

 

EVMs from all the  polling booths in  Dakshina Kannada constituency  are placed here. The process of transporting the EVMs from different polling booths to the strong room completed only on Friday morning.

The arrangements  were made under the strict supervision of Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Sasikanth Senthil,  Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil, DCP Hanumantharaya and other  officials.

The EVMs of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency have been kept in the strong rooms at the St Cecily School, Ajjarkad. CRPF personnel are guarding the EVMs with over 150 officials also on security duty here.
