Duo arrested for stealing cow from Bala Samrakshana Kendra

Mangaluru, Dec 13, 2017: CCB Police have arrested two persons on the charges of  stealing cow  from the Bala Samrakshana Kendra at Kuttarpadavu in Munnur village. Even the Maruti Swift car used by them to transport the stolen cattle has been seized apart from a cash of Rs 6,300.

Earlier in August, a complaint was lodged with the Ullal Police by the supervisor of the Kendra alleging that  a cow belonging to the Kendra, worth Rs 10,000 was stolen.

Of the two accused Kabir  has seven  cattle theft cases against him in Ullal, Karkala, Bajpe and Panambur stations while the other arrested man has eight cases against him.
