Duo arrested for gold smuggling at Kannur airport

Kasargod, Aug 13, 2020:  Customs officials have arrested two persons at the Kannur International Airport on the charges of smuggling gold.

 

The  duo identified as Sattar and Sameer from Manjeshwar  had returned from Sharjah and Dubai respectively. Officials have seized  gold worth Rs 45 lakhs from them.
