Drowning boy rescued by Life guard at Panambur beach.

Mangaluru, June 5, 2015: A lifeguard saved a life of a young boy who was drowning at Panambur beach on Friday.  Chetan Mulya who hails from Mumbai had come to Panambur beach for a day of fun.

 

 
The boy apparently got swept out into deep waters by a strong current. The life guard jumped in to help him out of the water. 

The boy did not require medical attention but was a little shaken after the incident.

Beach project CEO Yathish Baikampady said ’’the team has rescued 99 people so far’’.
