Drivers and Passengers seriously injured as two buses collide head on in Mangaluru.

Mangaluru, June 4, 2015: Atleast 10 passengers were seriously injured after two buses collided head-on at Alape, Padil on Thursday, June 4.

 

The incident took place when one of the buses overtook another vehicle and collided head-on into the other bus coming from other direction.

Both the bus drivers lost their control over the vehicle and skidded off the road.
One bus was on its way to Railway gate from State Bank while the other bus was returning from Railway gate.  Both were 9-numbered bus.

The driver of ‘Bhavani travels’ is said to be critical. All the injured passengers were immediately rushed to hospital.

It took nearly an hour for the police to arrive at the scene which angered the mob. 
A case has been registered in Kadri traffic police station.
