Driver injured in cooker bomb blast gets new auto, Rs 5 lakh aid from BJP

Mangaluru, Mar 05, 2023: A new autorickshaw and a cheque for Rs 5 lakhs was handed over to Purushotham Poojary, the autorickshaw driver who was injured in the cooker bomb blast that took place in his autorickshaw near Nagori on November 19 last year.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath handed over the cheque and the keys of the autorickshaw to Poojary. Mayor Jayananda Anchan, Deputy Mayor Poornima, former mayor Premananda Shetty, MUDA Chairman Ravishanker Mijar and others were present.
