Driver injured in bus-tipper collision

Bantwal, Oct 12, 2019: The driver of a tipper sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between his sand transporting tipper and a private bus at Mittur near Maani on October 12, Saturday.

 

The private bus was heading towards  Mangaluru. The accident took place at a dangerous curve at Mittur.

The front portions of both the vehicles were badly mangled due to the impact of the collision. The driver of the tipper who was caught inside the vehicle was  taken out with great difficulty by the locals who then rushed him to hospital.
