Dr. Vinay Hegde chosen for Rotary Vandana Award - 2020

Mangaluru, June 23, 2020:    Eminent Educationist, Industrialist and Chancellor of Nitte University Dr. Vinay  Hegde has been chosen for the Rotary Annual State Level prestigious  “Vandana Award – 2020”.

 

The award is jointly instituted by Rotary Club of Mangalore Central and Rotaract Club of Mangalore City, which will be conferred on Dr. Vinay Hegde Mangaluru in appreciation of his exemplary achievements in the field of Education. The award comprises of a citation, plaque and memento.

Sri. Kota Srinivas Poojary, Dist. Incharge Minister,  Karnataka State Minister for Port & Fisheries will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and will feliciatate the Awardee in a function to be held on Saturday 27.06.2020 at 06.30 pm at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Mangaluru.

President of Rotary Club of Mangalore Central Rtn. Dr. Jayaprakash Poonja will preside  over the function. Rotary Dist. Asst. Governor Rtn. Geethanada Pai and Dist. Rotaract  representative Rtr. Ganesh G T will be the guest of honour on this occasion.

Rotary Club and Rotaract club annually confer their prestigious state level Vandana Award to the exemplary achievers in the field of sports, literature, Industry, business, Banking, Music, Medical Science, Engineering,  Art, Culture and Social Service as a part of their Vocational Service projects, revealed by Award Selection Committee Chairman Rtn. Dr. Devdas Rai. Secretary Rtn. K.M. Hegde, Rotaract President Rtn. Sheldon Crasta were present in the press meet.
