Dr Veerendra Heggade conferred Padma Vibhushan

New Delhi, Apr 08, 2015: Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala received Padma Vibhushan  Award, the highest civilian honour from President Pranab Mukherjee at a ceremony held at Rashtrapathi Bhavan in New Delhi on April 8, Wednesday. 

 

Eight other eminent personalities including actors Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachhan also  received the Award.

 

T V Mohandas Pai, chairman of Manipal Global Education is also received Padma Sri on the ocassion for his service in the field of trade and industry.
