Dr. Veerendra Heggade celebrates his Pattabhisheka Anniversary; announces new schemes

Dharmasthala, Oct 25, 2014 : Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. D Veerendra Heggade has announced several schemes for the  welfare of the society on the occasion of his 47th Pattabhisheka Vardhanthyutsava ( anniversary) held at the Mahotsava Auditorium of Dharmasthala on October 24, Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said  agricultural implements would be provided to farmers at  minimum price  through the Dharmasthala Rural Development Project and with the help of the state government  in 161 centres of the state.

He also informed that a sum of Rs 20 crores would be utilised for the project on behalf of the Dharmasthala Project and Rs 60 crores by the state government. Dr Heggade further said 365 water supply units would be set up in the state with the intention of supplying fluoride free water.  Priority will also be  laid to organise de-addiction, women’s empowerment camps and cleanliness drives, he stated.

A 350 bed capacity Ayurveda Hospital has been opened in Bangalore, he said adding a full-fledged Ayurveda Hospital and College will be available for service from next year. A Super Speciality Hospital is also functioning at Dharwad, he informed. Construction of a 520 room  lodge for the benefit of pilgrims  has been initiated in Dharmasthala, Dr Heggade said.

On this occasion, he  exhorted the Dharmasthala staff to discharge their duties with  truth, honesty and sincerity.

Dr Heggade felicitated 13 senior staff of the Kshetra on the occasion. Ramesh Hebbar  spoke on behalf of those felicitated.

Shree Bhuvanakeerthi Swamiji of Kanakagiri Kshetra who presided over the function said prayers to the almighty and donations to the needy will gift peace of mind and solace to an individual. The selfless service rendered by Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade in Dharmasthala is worth emulation, the seer said.
