Dr. U.S Krishna Nayak Bags ’Best Dentist Award’ at National Level

Mangalore, Sep 17, 2014: Dr.U.S Krishna Nayak, Dean and Senior Professor and Head, Department of Orthodontics in AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences has bagged the ’Best Dentist Award’ at the National Level.

In addition to this Nayaks Dental Speciality Clinic, Attavar was also adjudged as the ’Best Dental Practice’ at the National Level.  These awards were presented on him at 102nd World Dental Congress-2014 held at New Delhi from 11th to 14th September,2014, a release said.

One of the most popular Orthodontists of Mangalore, Dr US Krishna Nayak is the former president of the Indian Dental Association and Indian Orthodontic Society and has conducted over 500 free dental health camps and community dental health programmes in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts. Several awards have come his way and even the Karnataka Government recognizing his yeoman service has conferred him the Rajyotsava Award for the year 2003.
