Dr Sushil Jathanna appointed to Board of Christian Medical College, Vellore

Mangaluru, Sep 07, 2017: Dr Sushil Jathanna, MBBS, MSc, MRCP, MFPHM, FFPHM, DGM, DMS Director of Global Hospital Mangalore and Director of Lombard Memorial Hospital, Udupi has been appointed to the Executive Committee and Board of Christian  Medical College (CMC) and Hospital, Vellore, Tamil Nadu.

CMC vellore is one of the oldest and most prestigious medical colleges in India and is consistently ranked as the second best medical college in India. Seats in CMC, Vellore is highly sought after and patients from all over the world come there for treatment because of the excellence in care.  It is an internatinally recognised institution and a seat on the Board and Executive committee is a great honour.

Dr Sushil Jathanna, qualified from KMC, Mangalore and did all his postgraduate qualifications in General Medicine and management in the UK. He was fornerly the first Indian CEO of the NHS in Cambridgeshire and was also before that Managing Director of the healthcare Division of Care UK plc in the UK. He currently holds several positions in the healthcare field in India including being the Vice Chairman of indian Red Cross Soceity, DK and Chairman of the Red Cross Blood Bank, DK. In addition he is Convenor of the Inter Diocesan Medical Board of Karnataka covering 6 hospitasl in karnataka and also Secretary of the Medical Board of CSI Synod covering all Mission Hospitals in South India. He is also an Executive member of CSI Karnataka Southern Diocese.
