Dr Arathi Krishna to inaugurate Mangaluru Dasara tomorrow

Mangaluru, Oct 16, 2020: Dr Arathi Krishna, former vice president of NRI Forum and a prominent Covid Warrior will be inaugurating Mangaluru Dasara at the Kudroli Shree Gokarnanatha Shrine on October 17, Saturday.

Saturday’s Dasara inaugural programme  will be held at 12 noon  with the installation of the idols of Goddess Sharada and Nava Durgas.  Mahapooja will be performed at 12.30 pm.

This year’s Dasara will be celebrated by duly adhering to all guidelines under the slogan "Namma Dasara Namma Surakshe."

Dr Arathi Krishna  who hails from Chikkmagaluru district  has been instrumental in helping  NRIs in distress during the Covid pandemic  and  by securing  permission from  the foreign embassies for chartered flights  to facilitate   travel of stranded Indians  to their homeland.
