Dowry harassment, woman complains

Mangaluru, June 29,2016: It is reported that a woman in the city filed a case against her husband for mental mental and physically harassing her for dowry.

 

Sharada, in her complaint stated that she had given Rs 1 lakh cash and 12 sovereigns’ gold as dowry, but after marriage, her husband Ramesh, along with his parents began harassing her for more.

She alleged that they threatened to kill her and throw her out of the house.

A case was registered at Kundapur police station.
