Don’t involve in settling land, financial disputes, Police Commissioner warns rowdy elements

Mangaluru, May 5, 2019: It has been gathered that city Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil has directed all station house officers in the Commissionerate limits to invoke provision of the  Karnataka Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act 2004 and other provisions of the Indian Penal Code in case any attempt was made by rowdies or gangs to settle land and financial disputes as intermediaries.

The top cop of Mangaluru has also tweeted asking rowdy elements to keep away from the task of settling land and financial disputes and also asked people not to approach such anti-social elements.

The Commissioner’s tweet has also mentioned as to how action  has been initiated against one such case in Kadri.
