District Jail raided : Ganja, knife, cell phones found

Mangalore, June 11, 2014 : A police team led by senior officials which raided the District Jail premises during the early hours of June 11, Wednesday has reportedly found  several packets of ganja, a knife, three blades and two  cell phones.

 

The raiding team included Vishnuvardhan, Jagadish, DCPs and Tilakchandra, ACP. The  raid comes in the backdrop of the June 8, Sunday’s incident wherein under trials had launched an attack on the cops who were about to shift two prisoners to the Belgaum prison.
