District Administration celebrates Kanakadasa Jayanthi in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Nov 17, 2016 : Kanaka Jayanthi, the birth anniversary of Kanakadasa who was an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna, was celebrated at Townhall  with great fervour and gaiety on November 17,Thursday.

 

 

 

 

 

’Kanaka Jayanthi Utsav’,organized by the district administration . Kanakadasa was a great personality who has given the society what he acquired by his comprehensive studies. He added that Kanakadasa was well aware of dangerousness of ego and lived an evocative life.On the occasion several bhajan troupes, and folk troupes among others participated.

District in Charge minister Ramanath Rai, DC Jagadeesha, ADC Kumar, J R Lobo, SP Bhushan Borase and many others were present.
