Displeased with mother’s advise, 13 year old girl ends life

Kaup, April 14, 2020:  A thirteen year old girl who was advised by her mother against wasting time  watching mobile phone  has ended her life by hanging herself in her house at Admar in Yellur village on April 13,  Monday evening.

 

The deceased is Srijanya (13), daughter of Jayaram. It is learnt at around 4 pm, Srijanya’s mother asked her to stop watching  mobile phone and instead help her. However, the girl who was not  happy with it, entered her room and had hanged herself from the steel rod  using her veil.

Though he was immediately rushed to the hospital, doctors pronounced her dead.

The girl was studying in seventh standard at Lions School, Padubidri.
