It is therefore necessary to take our Digital Banking initiative forward with greater zeal. As far as core business is concerned, our focus areas during the ensuing quarters of the current year shall continue to be augmentation of credit with an eye on asset quality, effective credit monitoring and increasing CASA deposits”, said Shri. P. Jayarama Bhat, MD & CEO of the Bank while addressing Regional Heads during Q1 Business Review conference of Regional Heads held on 24-07-2015 at the Bank’s Head quarters at Mangaluru.

In his welcome and introductory address, Shri. Mahabaleshwara M. S, Chief General Manager,  touched upon the macro economic factors at the global and domestic level affecting the banking industry in general  and highlighted the Bank’s Q 1 business growth vis-à-vis the projected business and urged the Regional Heads to work harder to ensure that the current year’s business goals achieved without fail.

Shri Raghurama, General Manager – Planning and Development Department, reviewed the Region wise performance of the Bank during Q1 of the current fiscal.

Shri P Jairama Hande, Senior General Manager, Shri N Upendra Prabhu, Dr. Meera Aranha, Shri Raghurama, Shri Raghavendra Bhat M, and Shri Chandrashekar Rao B, General Managers spoke on the occasion.

All the twelve Regional Heads across the country, Heads of the Bank’s International Division-Mumbai & Data Centre, Bengaluru and Executives of the Bank participated in the conference.

The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Shri Vijayashankar Rai K V, Deputy General Manager.
