Differently-abled artistes rule the stage at Alva’s Virasat

Moodbidri, Jan 15, 2015:  Differently-abled artistes stunned the gathering with their mesmerizing performances on the third day of Alva’s Virasat at the Palace Grounds at Vidyagiri on January 10, Saturday.

There was a programme called ‘Akhiyon Ke Jharokon Se’ wherein disabled and visually impaired artistes presented a scintillating musical programme under the aegis of  Nandu Productions and Nandu Kadams from Mumbai. Several old as well as new hit songs were presented by the team members. They also presented yoga postures with lighted candles.

 Then there was the ‘Miracle on Wheels’ by differently abled artistes under the aegis of Ability Animated Foundation.’ The show directed by Syed Salahuddin Pasha  focused on the  abilities of the visually impaired people and received a standing ovation from the huge gathering.

Punjabi folk dances, Gujarati folk dance by Ranga Malhar Performing Arts, Ahmedabad and a variety of cultural events by Alva’s students made the evening memorable for all those present  at the venue.
