Dharmasthala POCSO case accused arrested in Kerala

Belthangady, Feb 14, 2018:  Dharmasthala Police have arrested  one Rejeesh who is said to be the prime accused in the case of attempting rape on a Dalit girl at Kalmanja near Dharmasthala recently. The arrest was made at Alavara in Kerala. He has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody  for 15 days.

Rejeesh along with his friend had forcibly pulled the girl who was returning from school, into an autorickshaw and had tried to molest her. The girl who had raised a cry had managed to escape following which  a case was registered in the local police station.

Rejeesh who was booked under POCSO had gone underground after the incident.
