Dharmasthala : Man brutally attacked in drunken stupor

Belthangady, May 07, 2020:   A person was brutally attacked with a machete  at Narya in Dharmasthala village on Wednesday night. It is said the incident took place in a drunken stupor. The accused Lokesh  was said to be involved in illicit liquor trade in the area.

 

The victim Suresh of Narya has been admitted to a private hospital in Ujire in a critical state. The incident took place near the house of Suresh and a personal discord is said to be the reason for the attack.

Dharmasthala Police have registered a case and are investigating.
