Development projects worth Rs 2.45 cr initiated

Mangaluru, July 29,2017  : The  foundation laying ceremony for the Padavinangady Circle and drainage deelopment project and  five other developmental projects   were held on July 29, Saturday in  the presence of Mangaluru Mayor Kavitha Sanil, Legislators J R Lobo, Moidin Bava and others.

The projects would be taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 2.45 crores and are expected to be completed in eight months time.

 If the Padavinangady Circle would be built at Rs 50 lakhs,  the St Agnes Circle, City Hospital Circle and Karavali Cirlce would be developed at a cost of Rs 25 lakhs, Rs 15 lakhs and Rs 60 lakhs respectively. The Valencia ward office would be developed at a cost of Rs 45 lakhs while Nandigudda cemetry development would be taken up at a cost of Rs 50 lakhs.


Deputy Mayor Rajaneesh, MCC Commissioner M Nazeer, MCC Chief Whip Shashidhar Hegde, former mayors Mahabala Maarla, Harinath and others were present.
