Development of roads, funds released: MP Nalin

Mangaluru, Nov 11, 2016:  It is reported that based on proposal made by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, the Union government has released Rs 122.90 crore under Central Road Fund for development of roads in the district.

Roads  :  According to a press release the funds have been released for following roads: Nekkarekadu-Kolnadu Road (Rs 400 lakh), Shirthadi-Marooru-Hosangady Bridge (Rs 500 lakh), Kakkinje Neriya Puduvettu Road, Kuppettu Road (Rs 1,800 lakh), Thakode Church-Pucchemogeru (Rs 200 lakh), Konyapadavu Poopadikallu (Rs 300 lakh), Golthamajalu-Manchi Road (Rs 200 lakh), Vagga-Karinjeshwara Temple Road, Maninalkooru Road (Rs 400 lakh), Amchinadka-Nittur, Charvaka-Dolpady-Edamangala (Rs 1,000 lakh), Ayyanakatte-Begamangala Road, Aranthodu Road (Rs 850 lakh), Panemangaluru via Goodinabali Road (Rs 350 lakh), Mundaje-Dharmasthala (Rs 700 lakh), Jappinamogaru (on NH 66)- Kannur (on NH 75) Road (Rs 300 lakh), Kulshekar-Kannagudde Road (Rs 500 lakh), Mangaluru-Chervathooru Road (Rs 500 lakh), Permannur-Pavoor-Harekala (Rs 360 lakh), Vagga-Vamadapadavu Road (Rs 250 lakh), Rayi-Moorje Road (Rs 180 lakh), Moodbidri-Bantwal Road (Rs 400 lakh), Annalike-Karimale Road (Rs 400 lakh), Nandikooru-Shirva (Rs 200 lakh), Kanakamajalu-Ajjavara, Ubaradka-Kandadka Road (Rs 800 lakh), Bayila-Nelyadi Road (Rs 600 lakh) and Ganjimutt-Niddodi Road (Rs 1,000 lakh).
