Desperate lover stabs girlfriend to death, hangs himself in Bantwal

Bantwal,  Jan  03, 2017 : A desperate lover stabs his girl girlfriend later commits suicide by hanging himself to a tree at Koila in Bantwal on January 03, Tuesday.
 

The deceased are Sujith (28) a resident of Kudumani and his girlfriend Divya(23) a resident of Kudunagudde.

It is learnt that Sujith and Divya were in love, but recently Divya started ignoring and avoiding Sujith from approaching her. He was desperate and raged over as she ditched him. On Tuesday Sujith had messaged Divya to meet him at cashew plantation. Argument broke between them due to which he stabbed her to death with the sharp weapon, then ending his life hanging himself to a tree.

The families were in search of them as both were missing since morning, they noticed Sujith’s bike parked in the location, to their shock found them lying dead. Bantwal rural police reached the spot on information , shifted the bodies to hospital for autopsy.

A case has been registered  and Investigations are in progress.
