Deer falls into pond near Idyadka, dies

Puttur: August 14, 2015: A deer fell into a pond near Idyadka in Keyur village on Wednesday night and reportedly died. However, the locals came to know about the incident the next day morning.

The body of the deer was found in the pond near areca plantation of Babu Naik who soon informed about the matter to the forest department.

The Zonal forest officer Narimogru, Venkappa k, forest guard Santhost and other officials soon rushed to the spot and lifted the dead body from the pond with the help of locals.

The Autospy of deer was conducted at Veterinary hospital and was later burried in the government land in Bannur.
