Deep sea fishing to resume along coast tomorrow

Mangaluru, July 31, 2018: After a two month long ban, deep sea fishing is all set to commence in the coast from August 1, Wednesday.

 

Fishermen are all geared up for  deep sea fishing along with their boats.

There are a total of 1,077 mechanised boats in the district  including 65 purse-seine and 1,012 trawl boats. Along with these a total of 1,376  country boats fitted with engines and 526 non-engine country boats will be in action from tomorrow.
