Decomposed body of commercial tax employee found at PWD quarters

Mangaluru, Aug 11, 2016: A person identified as Ganesh Prasad (45) who worked as first division assistant in the Commercial Tax Office in the city was found dead at  the PWD quarters at Bondel on August 11, Thursday.  The body was in a decomposed state. The suspicion is that Ganesh who was an alcoholic might have suffered a fall and hurt his head resulting in his death. It is  said that he might have died a few days ago.

 

The deceased lived alone in his  house  since the last four years. His wife had divorced him due to his addiction to alcohol, sources said.

The fact that he was dead came to light on Thursday when  foul smell began to emanate from the  house . Neighbours immediately informed the police.  The body has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.

Kavoor Police have registered a case.
