Death of Bajpe Grama Panchayat Member due to Rat fever

Bajpe July 20, 2016:  The Grama Panchayat member of Bajpe died  at Wenlock hospital in Mangaluru, as he was suuferind from rat fever.

 

The deceased is Vaman Gowda(45). He was a resident of Bajpe , A  member of Grama Pancahyat in Bajpe elected for the second time.

It is said that Vaman Gowda was admitted to Hospital with severe fever. Doctor’s confirm it  to be rat fever where his  health condition began to decline . He did not respond to medicine and breathed his last.He is survived by wife and two children.

 

Zilla Panchayat Vice President Kasturi Panja,  GP member Vasanti,  GP president Rosy Mathais, Moodabidre BJP President Eshwar Kateel  and may other GP members were present for his last rites.
