Daughter found alive beside decomposed body of her father

Udupi, Oct 19, 2016: In a strange incident daughter found alive beside the decomposed body of her father since five days.

 

The deceased is Anantha Poojary (65), a retired clerk in the forest department. A resident of NGO colony in Bailoor .  His daughter Vinutha (35)was lying unconscious  beside him.

The local resident who grew suspicious on noticing the light in the house from five days and foul smell was coming from the house. They made effort to break open the door, to their shock noticed both lying on the floor. While initially it was presumed that both of them were dead the daughter was still breathing.

The locals informed their relative Sadashiva Poojary. He made a call to  the social worker Ambalapady Vishu Shetty and informed the matter. He  brought police to the spot along with him. It is told that due to bad smell, they were not able to go inside the house and had to spray perfume in order to enter the house.

Vinutha  was shifted to Manipal hospital for treatment immediately.Body of Anantha Poojary  was shifted to Hospital for autopsy. The exact reason will be revealed on after Vinutha will be back to conscious.

The case has been registered in Udupi police station.
