Dalit woman alleges gang-rape in Nellyadi

Uppinangady, Feb 16, 2018 : A Dalit woman has complained in Uppinangady police station that she was gang-raped by two including her boyfriend at Nellyadi. The incident came to light on February 16, Friday.

The woman, hailing from Bettampady village in Uppinangady, has complained that she was in a relationship with a person named Dhananjay. Dhananjay had taken her to Nellyadi Temple feast on Thursday night, they were accompanied by his friend. Taking the advantage of the opportunity  they raped her in a vacant house situated there. They then fled away leaving her at Uppinangady bus stand.

Uppinangady police are investigating the case.
