Dakshina Kannada to go under complete lockdown on Saturday

Mangaluru, March 27, 2020: With the number of corona positive cases going up in the Dakshina Kannada District, the District in-charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary on Friday evening announced that the District will go under complete lockdown on Saturday.

The decision was taken during the meeting with top-officials at the office of Deputy Commissioner here in the city on Friday.

The number of Corona Virus positive cases in the District currently stands at seven, while in neighboring District Kasargod has witnessed sharp rise in the number of positive cases of the deadly virus. Reports of positive cases of the virus have also come from Uttara Kannada which has led the officials to take the decision.
