DYFI urges state govt to fill in vacancies at the earliest

Mangalore, May 28, 2013: Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) State Vice-President Muneer Katipalla has urged Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to channelize youth power in the right direction by convening a meeting of youth organizations.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on May 28, Tuesday, he alleged that all state governments of the past have been indifferent towards the youth and  had failed to attach importance to empowerment of youth with the objective of eradicating unemployment.

Muneer charged the erstwhile BJP government of resorting to commercialization and saffronization of education and urged the Congress government to put a stop to the practice.

Stating  that there were around 1.70 lakh vacancies pending in various government departments, he urged the state government to fill the vacant posts soon.

He said memoranda would be submitted in this regard to the state government through the local authorities at taluk and district level across the state.
