DVS Son rape and cheating case: Orders on Karthik bail plea Monday

Bangalore, Sep. 6, 2014: The Bangalore City Civil Court will pronounce the orders on the anticipatory bail plea of Karthik Gowda, son of Railway Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, in connection with the rape and cheating case on Monday.

The dictation of the order is yet to be completed and the judge, who had reserved the order for Saturday, has now adjourned the matter to Monday.

The VIIIth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) court on Thursday had issued an arrest warrant against Gowda.

A senior police officer, said, “A special team has been formed to nab Karthik and there are reports that he is somewhere in Uttar Pradesh. A few policemen have left for Uttar Pradesh to nab him. All efforts are being made to arrest him at the earliest.”
