DSS protests against Hathras case ; demands President’s rule in UP

Mangaluru, Oct 07, 2020:    The Dalita Sangharsha Samithi ( Prof B Krishnappa founded) and various like-minded organisations staged a protest in front of the Mini Vidhana Saudha against the  Hathras gangrape case on October 7,  Wednesday.

The protestors demaded a probe into the case by a Supreme court judge and  sought a compensation of Rs one crore to the family of the victim.    Protestors also demanded  suspension of Yogi Adityanath government and imposition of President’s rule in the state.

Prof Narendra Nayak, President of Federation of Rationalists’ Association who addressed the protestors, said  the Dalit community must be wary of the  culture of Manuvism which was spreading and trying to control communities.

DYFI State President Muneer Katipalla, DSS leader  Devadas,  Congress leader P V Mohan and others participated in the protest.
