DK reports 24 corona cases, Udupi adds 12 infections, 2 deaths in twin districts

Mangaluru,Oct 20, 2021: Dakshina Kannada on Tuesday reported 24 new coronavirus cases.

 

The total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 1,15,132 out of which 301 are currently active.

As many as 37 patients were discharged from hospitals on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 1,13,155.

The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,676, including 1 on Tuesday.

Udupi

As many as 12 new cases were reported on Tuesday, taking the total number of cases to 76,601 out of which 47 are currently active.

A total of 8 patients were discharged from hospitals on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 76,078 for the second wave.

A total of 476 deaths have occured so far including 1 on Tuesday.
