DK reports 112 fresh Covid-19 cases and Udupi reports 89

Mangaluru, April 08, 2021:       Dakshina Kannada district recorded 112 fresh Covid-19 positive cases on Wednesday. With this the total cases recorded in the district rose to 36,255.

73 More Covid patients discharged on Wednesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 34,794. The district has 718 active cases. A total of 743 deaths have occurred so far, including 1 on Wednesday.

Udupi

Udupi disrict has reported 89 fresh cases on Wednesday, with this total cases recorded in the district rose to 25,720.

The district has 428 active cases. As many as 59 patients were discharged on Wednesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 25,100.

A total of 192 deaths have occured so far.
