DK Congress observes Rajiv Gandhi death anniversary

Mangaluru May 21, 2016: Dakshina Kannada Congress leaders observed late prime minister  Rajiv Gandhiji’s 25th death anniversary at Congress office on Saturday May 21.

Speaking on the occasion District In Charge Minister Ramanath Rai  described  Rajiv Gandhi’s contribution to the development of the nation as phenomenal. He also added that absence of adequate security had led to Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination.

 Referring to the claims of the Sangh Parivar and Subramanian Swami on creating a Congress free nation, Rai said it was next to impossible.

MLA of Mangaluru South  JR Lobo  also spoke on the occasion. Mangaluru North MLA Moidin Bava, DK Congress Interim President Ibrahim Kodijaal, Sadashiv Ullal, Media Convenor TK Sudhir, Ashraf  and others were present.
