DC urges public to maintain calm ahead of Ayodhya verdict

Mangaluru, Nov 08 2019:  Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh has  urged the people to maintain calm, peace and harmony without getting excited in any  way over the  Supreme Court verdict on the Ayodhya  dispute which may be out  any time.

Addressing a  peace meet held at the DC office on November 7, Wednesday  she said the District Administration as well as the  Police Department is all geared up  to maintain peace and harmony.

City Police Commissioner Dr P S Harsha, warned of stern action against anyone trying to disrupt peace.

Additional DC  M J Rupa,  social activist Hanumanth Kamath, District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Muslim Central Committee Leader Ibrahim Kodijal, Yatish Baikampady, VHP leader Sharan Pumpwell and others were present.
