DC stresses awareness on global warming

Mangaluru, Dec 05, 2019:   Environmental pollution is one of the main reasons for global warming. There is a need for each and everyone to play an active role in reducing pollution, said Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B Rupesh.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

She was speaking at an awareness programme on Global Warming organised at the DC office premises here on December 5, Thursday under the joint aegis of the Lions Club, Valencia and District Disaster Management unit.

Ronald Gomes, Lions District 317D Governor, Jayaprakash Naik, District Pollution Control Officer, Leslie D’Souza, President of Lions Club, Valencia,  Secretary Oswald D’Cunha, Treasurer Lawrence Serrao and others were present.
